I was the Show Lead at Blur Studio for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
While my focus was on the entire 24 minutes of cinematics for the game, I was able to do a couple of shots from beginning to end on my own.
For the intro, I modeled the entire environment after creating the layout. The CG Sup (Chris Bedrosian) and I picked a mood we were looking for that would set the tone for the intro of the game and I went on from there. No matte paintings were used.
