I modeled and textured all of the cave environments as well as the courtyard where the battle takes place. The original courtyard was provided by the talented Andrew Averkin. for the prior ESO: Greymoor video. I re-created assets and their textures to be higher resolution and meet the needs requested by the director. The full shot of the the castle outside of the cave is a Matte Painting by my good friend, Michael Johnson. I used MegaScans for some of the rocks on the cave wall and re-textured for consistency and to feel cohesive.
After modeling the environment and setting it all up, I then did Look Development. I set up the look, feel and light rig to then hand off to the team brought on to bring this to life. This was a major team effort by a small team! Thanks to all who were involved. Some of these shots were taken and completed by other artists.
